It was a stormy day in canterlot city 🌃 rarity and twilight were in the middle of their hangout when said storm struck, flashing lightning and loud thunder that could set off a car alarm.
Rarity:my this is quite a storm today, I guess that gives me enough time to finish my dresses that my clients ordered.
Twilight:(laughs) I’ll say, I still need to finish a science experiment that I been working on for years. Ummm 🤔 is it ok if I use one of your spare rooms rarity?
Rarity:but of course darling, just…try not to blow anything up, I’d hate to clean up the mess in there
Twilight: no worries rarity I won’t
(Twilight sets up her equipment in a room provided by a generous friend and begins her work) ok…have to do this carefully, one measly mistake would create disaster. this new grow formula would give the shortest person the ability to grow inches taller(thinking) of course they will still be an average tall person height, this won’t turn anyone giant(laughs)
now just one more drop(Loud thunder struck causing a power outage) gah!!(little did twilight know, she accidentally added more than one drop of her final chemical)
(The lights come back on and rarity calls from the other room)
Rarity:darling are you alright?
Twilight:(catching her breath)I’m-im fine rarity, just got a little startled.(laughs) well that should do it, now to test it,(pours liquid into a shot glass and drinks it) blegh the taste is awful, maybe I need to add more ber- huh Why…is the desk growing? I know I didn’t spill anything on it…but the formula doesn’t work on inanimate objects.
(As twilight shrunk down to insect size rarity walks in to check on her)
Rarity:twilight…it’s been an hour do you want anything to ea- (Sees no one) twilight? Twilight where are you?
Twilight:gah! Why is rarity a giant?! She wasn’t even in the room with me unless….oh no oh no oh noooo instead of growing I…..shrunk.
(Twilight starts to tear up) how did this happen? I took care in my work, I made sure the finishing touch had one drop…or did it? (Sigh) i don’t know if rarity should see me like this
