Ryuji was going to immediately press the undo button and return to his body, but he decided that Futaba needed an explanation for why one of the first things she saw upon waking up was someone else controlling her body.
"Okay, Futaba, you're not going to believe this, but It's me Ryuji in your body." Ryuji started
"I figured as much! You said you were Ryuji a minute ago, but how are you in my body?!"
Ryuji explained to Futaba everything he knew about the app he received, which admittedly wasn't much.
Ryuji re-read the app explanation on Futaba's phone "It says that the transfer didn't complete because it was interuptted, I wonder what could have caused that?"
Ryuji then heard Futaba's voice chuckle in his head. "I still had the protection that prevented you guys from texting me back unless i allowed it enabled. Good to see it works well enough that even an out of this world app had troublesending something"
"But it still let me through, it just didn't finish" Ryuji said under his breath.
"Quiet you! It worked well enough! Besides, we can use this mess to stop the fake Medjed!" Futaba said, starting to get excited.
"For real?!" Ryuji practically shouted surprised.
"Yeah! Hear me out. I was asleep until you took over my body, I bet the second you leave I'll fall asleep again. So what I'll need you to do is listen and hack into the fake Medjed for me. That way we won't have cut it so close to the deadline" Futaba began to explain
"Wait wait wait, no way man. I Don't know a thing about hacking!" Ryuji shook Futaba's hands in a no motion with his hands as he said this
Futaba's voice somehow sighed despite her not currently having lungs "You Don't need to know anything. I'll walk you through every step. You'll just need to do everything I say. Now sit down at my computer desk, we have a lot of work ahead of us"
Ryuji thought it over for a few seconds before grinning and walking over to Futaba's desk "Alright, let's take 'em down!"
Over the next few hours Ryuji obeyed as Futaba barked orders at him and berated him every time he made a small mistake like pressing the wrong key. After what felt like an eternity, Ryuji looked at the clock and saw that it was almost midnight
"Okay, we're almost done. Just two more hours of this and we'll be done!" Futaba informed him
As Futaba said this, Ryuji raised her arms and yawned "then we'll finish in the morning" he said and stood up from the desk and began to walk sleepily to Futaba's bed.
"What?! No! We're almost done! Less sleep! More hack!" Futaba mentally yelled at Ryuji.
"Your body is too tired to continue working." Ryuji said as he laid down on Futaba's bed. "You can't always push yourself to Your limits, it's not healthy"
Futaba wanted to say something to convince Ryuji to continue working, but part of her knew he was right, so she said nothing as Ryuji went to sleep
When Ryuji first awoke in the morning, he thought that what had happened the previous night was a dream. That was until he heard Futaba's voice shouting in his mind "finally! Get up! Get up! Let's finish this!" She said hyperactive and excited to finish this hack
Ryuji opened his eyes and looked down at himself, he was still in Futaba's body. "Damn, all of that actually happened yesterday." He said, amazed he didn't dream it all up. He blushed as it occurred to him that he had spent nearly a day as a girl.
Ryuji picked himself out of bed and once again sat down at Futaba's desk. He followed her orders exactly for what felt like 2 more hours.
"And we're finished!" Futaba exclaimed. "Fake Medjed is going to be panicking really soon" she said, proud of her work
"So, uh, what did we do to them?" Ryuji asked, he may have been doing everything Futaba said, but he didn't understand a single part of it.
"I'll explain to you at the same time as the other Phantom Thieves, but don't worry, I have saved the day, you can begin thanking me now." Futaba said smuggly
"Alright. Now that's over with, I can head back to my own body." Ryuji said as he picked up Futaba's phone and opened the heart transfer app back up.
