As Midna sat on her throne, she looked through the different worlds. Each contained interesting options, but that fact made it hard to decide. She looked through her options multiple times, carefully deciding.
"Too bad I can't just create a new time period." She thought to herself. However, her search soon slowed down to a stop as she thought more about it. "A new time. . ." Midna concentrated and thought deeply. "Perhaps. . . maybe I could. I have the power, I could make challenges. I wonder. . ." After a minute of thinking, the Twilight Princess smiled. "Well, let me give it a shot. It's not like I have to worry about consequences." With a snap of her fingers, she teleported out of her world and created a new one.
It was just an empty void of nothing, but that gave Midna room to work with. She decided to follow the goddesses footsteps by creating Hyrule similar to how they did. She started with creating the land, adding landmarks like Death mountain, Lake Hylia, a snowy mountain and other areas. She made the world quite big and added some some towns for later and made sure to put Hyrule castle in the center. One more location she added was a special forest with a deep cave, this would be infested with a lot of monsters later.
Next, Midna added universal laws and physics just like Nayrue. She didn't change much at all for this part, Midna didn't feel the need to make thing's different.
The next part was the segment that Midna was waiting for, adding life to the world. She first started with the normal Hylians, starting off small. She made the shopkeepers more aggressive and powerful. If Link went into a shop but didn't buy anything, the shopkeepers could make Link pay in some way. Midna added one more touch to the common folks, a few would actually be monsters who look like Hylians.
She then added the Gorons and made them rock and meat eaters. For Zoras, she added them with the feeling of great dominance and superiority over other creatures. Midna also added the Rito, adding only a few, but made them large enough to be able to hold a Hylian in their claws/feet. The Gerudo was next, and she kept them the same except for one detail. If a man was caught in their territory, the intruder would have a much rougher time than just being locked up.
The enemies were next, and she made sure to add quite a few. She made sure to add Bokoblins, Moblins, Lizalfos, and Chuchus. The Twilight Princess made sure to make them aggressive and love dominating creatures like Hylians.
Midna finally created princess Zelda, and made her quite smart and kind, but playful and mischievous at times. Link wasn't changed, but that was the challenge. Midna put Link in a small town called Norwich and decided to make both him and Zelda adults. As she created them, she made sure to create the Triforce and give the two their pieces.
