You had poked your head into an old-style arcade at the mall, the sounds of the machines and the blinking lights catching your eye as you walked by. You had the time to kill, so you figured, why not?
As you grabbed a few dollars in quarters from the change machine, however, you start to feel... odd. The pit of your stomach feel heavy, and the room starts to spin. The arcade was mostly deserted, save for a handful of kids and tweens, and in the dim light nobody noticed your rapid loss in size. Your body dwindled in an instant, your tiny form stumbling near a handful of groups.
To your left was a group of young boys all clustered around a fighting game. Two of them were intensely focused on the buttons while the rest cheered or jeered them in response to the moves. There had to be 5 or 6 of them, and they looked relatively young- you'd guess they ranged from 7 to 14. They seemed really interested in their game, but one of them might see you.
To your right, there was a lone girl in a heavy sweatshirt and sneakers who looked to be playing to beat the high score. She looked like she had been here a while, her hair kind of greasy - she didn't seem to care about appearances, and she must have been somewhere from 14 to 18 years old. She was pretty focused as well.
There was more arcade to search, if you wanted to go to the skee-ball racks, you might find someone more easily approached.
