You decide to hand the Vaporeon the fish. It looks so cute and you just don't want to see it looking so sad. Besides, you can just buy fish any time, it's not like fishing is your life or profession or anything like that.
As the Vaporeon chows down of the dead fish, you watch. As it eats, you notice something rather peculiar. It starts growing. You wonder just exactly what kind of fish could cause such growth. By the time you're done thinking about it, the Vaporeon stands level to your head, looking you straight in the face.
You're still startled by the growth, but you realize that running away will likely trigger some sort of instinct and you'll probably get caught anyway. You decide to continue being friendly with the big aquatic quadruped and you begin petting it. It gives you a lick as you do this, and you then follow up by scratching it behind the ears.
While you shower it with affection (pun possibly intended...), the Vaporeon begins growing yet again, as you do this you pet whatever part of the blue beast you can reach. First the neck, then the chest, until you can barely reach its belly. At this point the Vaporeon sits down and you give its fully reachable belly a couple of pats. This seems to cause it to let out a colossal burp, most likely brought on from its meal.
