You feed one of the samples to Pikachu, and step back. You watch and nothing happens yet. You stare at Pikachu, and he stares back, happy to be a part of your work. A purple glow then surrounds Pikachu, and you record that.
Pikachu then begins to expand quickly, stopping when it is about a foot taller to you. You record this too. You are definitely suprised, as no subject has shown this effect when they grew.
"Pika?" the Pikachu says in suprise. You reassure him, and he becomes as happy as ever. However, the same purple glow surrounds him again, and you watch as he expands further, quickly becoming much taller. You only come up to the lower part of his stomach when he stops growing.
Intrigued, you write down this observation, and Pikachu is as genial as ever.
