You are just a simple person, hiking along one of the various routes of Johto. It feels to you like nearly every route is the same, the only differentce is the layout and numbers, with the occasional house or pokemon center to break the monotony.
You then notice an opening alongside a hill. It almost seems like it suddenly appeared out of nowhere. You're rather bored and it's not like you have anything better to do, so it seems like something interesting to investigate.
After walking ino the opening, you notice that the cavelike path inside seems to go farther than the actual hill. You decide to see what's on the other side as you continue walking. You turn around briefly to see the enterance, yet now it looks as if it were incredibly far away, even though you've barely taken 10 steps.
Once you make it to the end, you find yourself in a beautiful garden-like place. There's tall grass all around, wild pokemon playing, and there's even a small lake, complete with a waterfall.
