Someone Coming

As Alex watched the amazon preteen before him, he couldn't help but feel a mix of awe and fear. This girl had grown so much during their experimentation - physically and perhaps mentally too. And yet, despite her newfound power and confidence, something about her remained innocently playful.

But right now, there were more pressing matters to attend to. Like how he was going to explain their situation to Holly's parents when they eventually returned home. Or whether or not they could continue their experiments without anyone finding out.

Before either of them could dwell any longer on these thoughts, the sound of footsteps approaching the door announced the arrival of someone else. Both Alex and Holly turned to face the entrance way, just in time to see the front door opening...and the sight that greeted them took both of them completely by surprise.
