This choice: After Chara hit the floor, she was too fat and heavy to get up on her own AU: Un • Go Back...Chapter #8After Chara hit the floor, she was too fat and ... by: Dragonfire   Underswap Chara asked everyone in the skeleton brothers (skelebros for short) house for help. Sans (Blue is his multiverse nickname) immediately tried to help the extremely obese girl up, without using magic. Papyrus (Carrot or Swap are his multiverse nicknames) sighed, his right eye socket began to glow orange, then Chara had a blue heart floating in front of her massive breasts.
"I'm using blue soul magic, it can manipulate gravity of a soul." Papyrus said, where do you want me to take you?"
"You could stop staring at the almost completely naked girl." said Frisk, "Wait, how old are the 3 of you?" Ages (from oldest to youngest): Chara (205), Sans (15), Papyrus (12), Chara (8).
"Papyrus is the younger of the 2?!" exclaimed Frisk in surprise.
"And you are 205? " said Papyrus, "Yeah, right. You look maybe 10 or 11 at most."
"Don't you remember what Chara while introducing me?" asked Frisk, " and I quote, 'and this is my new ghost friend Frisk.' I'm dead, but I look the same age as when I died."
A day later, Frisk noticed that she seemed to flicker in and out of existence every so often, as well as losing her physical form (her physical form keeps not phasing through things unintentionally. As a ghost, she can still move through inanimate objects) . She thought about what kept her from passing on, and then it hit her. Chara must be losing her DETERMINATION which that was only thing that was keeping her "alive".
"Why would Chara be losing her DETERMINATION?" Frisk asked no one in particular and decided to check both Chara's and her soul. Her soul was a very dim red with many large cracks in looked almost fragile and because she was not the most DETERMINED human in the world, Frisk couldn't use RESET (that's one reason why Papyrus hates Frisk and Chara. He's one of the two monsters in Underswap that can remember through RESETS, only Frisk, Chara can remember after them as well. Chara knew almost nothing about the OP powers that the soul of DETERMINATION has.) which she can't go back in time to the last save point Frisk/Chara interacted with if she died..again. At that moment two things happened that should not have happened, Papyrus walked into the room Frisk was in at the same as she flickered and Carrot summoned a dragon skull that shot a laser that damages the soul directly called a gaster blaster, aimed it at her and fired. Frisk got out of the way in time, if she didn't, there would be nothing left of her.
"Put that dangerous thing away!" yelled Sans from the kitchen, after hearing the blast. Actually the laser hit Frisk in the arm, and where it hit her, there was nothing, literally nothing. Her soul now was threatening to shatter.
"I was just wanted to see what was happening to me and why I'm flickering in and out of existence. I think Chara is losing her DETERMINATION so I was going to go check what condition her own soul was in and now I'm almost dead. What would Sans and Chara say if you actually killed me? She considers me her only friend, besides your brother." Frisk kind of lectured him. Blue kind of rolled Chara into the room where the two heard Frisk lecturing (what Blue considered lecturing) Carrot from. Chara looked be even fatter and rounder than last time Frisk saw her.
"What happened and what are you talking about?" Chara asked, her nine chins jiggling while she talked.
"Nothing, Papyrus was showing me his gaster blaster, it misfired and almost hit me." Frisk lied, crossing her arms to conceal the hole in her right forearm. "Chara can I check your soul, mine looks pretty ba I want to make sure yours is alright." Frisk asked one of the skeletons to pull her soul out of her body, so everyone can see. Like Frisk thought and feared, Chara's soul was starting to become a bright green. "Oh sh- I mean oh no, that's not good for me." Frisk said worriedly, after seeing Chara's confused face, she then explained, "I now only exist because of your DETERMINATION, that's why your soul is red, but now you're beginning to lose that soul trait. Your new or original soul is Kindness."
"Ounce your soul has lost it's soul trait it a large amount of effort to regain it." Papyrus continued explaining for Frisk, "Your friend will be gone permanently, even though I would be glad be rid of her, I'm guessing you won't be and will never be happy again because you would know that it was your fault, unintentionally of course, that she was gone forever."
The ghost girl decided to try, emphasis on try, to cheer Chara up. "Maybe I can figure out a way to..wait! I just thought of this. It might not work because of how damaged my soul is, it makes you feel better, you or your still mobile friends could ask Undyne for help to bring me back." Frisk suggested, "Though you would need to get my body from the Ruins, that is probably the easiest part. Sorry that's the only part of idea my I figure out on my own. I didn't get a very good education from humans about science stuff before I jumped down Mt Ebott. I jumped just before 4th grade and didn't really pay attention in the first place."
"So we will need Undyne's help? Can you keep yourself "alive" for 3 days at least?" Asked Sans, "Because I remember hearing Alphys say that Undyne and her will be gone for a week, but 4 or 5 days ago."
"I'll try to hang on as long as I can, no promises about how long." Frisk said hesitantly, "At most, I might last for a month, if my soul doesn't get damaged further. Especially by this damn skeleton's blaster."
"I swear we will keep you and Chara safe from harm." swore Blue, and in a serious tone he said, "and I mean WE as in BOTH of us, Papyrus." Papyrus knew his brother was serious because Sans only called him by his name when he was DEAD serious. Blue only calls him 'Papy' or brother, never Papyrus.
"Okay, okay. Don't hurt this homici- I mean Frisk or allow her to get hurt." Papyrus grumpily said, he DEFINITELY did not like this plan. But Papyrus did have a plan of his own, though it would involve interrupting Undyne and Alphys's vacation. It made it so that he could "accidentally" hit Frisk.Though should he interrupt their vacation or not?
What does Papyrus do? "Accidentally" hurts Frisk, she most likely dies? Or does he try and help Frisk?   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
