Naruto looked up and saw Sasuke, one of his teammates and his rival. The Uchiha was someone who Naruto rarely got along with, yet they were often paired together so he would spend more time with him than his other classmates. This continued even more when they were assigned to the same team, heavily relying on one another to train and deal with Sakura’s fangirl impulses and Kakashi’s chronic tardiness. As a result he could say that they were friends, but that would be going against the silent agreement the two had with one another. Sasuke as of late was also a bit hesitant to be alone with him, making Naruto both confused and hurt. Perhaps this would be a good chance to find out what was up with him.
It seemed Naruto was a bit fortunate, as Sasuke had stopped right outside the alleyway. Conveniently enough, this placed him in a closer distance to Naruto. He figured this would be his only shot at getting to Sasuke, and out of the alley. He made a rapid dash for Sasuke, and was relieved to see that his speed was not entirely reliant on his chakra and the Kyuubi. Making it closer to Sasuke, Naruto took a step more and then leaped. Slamming into fabric, he gripped tightly onto what he saw were the bottom of Sasuke’s shorts and started to slowly climb.
