Randy was bringing one last bag out to the garage when the force closest identified to 'Magic' decided to make it's changes. It had entered this new reality on the basis of a heartfelt wish that had created a doorway through which 'Magic' could enter the human world. Magic, had it the capacity to realize itself and assign to it such corporeal and crude labels and identifiers, would have called itself a 'emotional' being. It had been called by the sheer heartbreak and sadness behind the younger female human's wish.
That was why when Magic entered this reality it had immediately expanded across the entire Veltman property, analyzing the humans and the home itself down to their emotional and empathic cores. It knew the Veltmans and Fischels even better than they knew themselves and it sympathized and loved all of them, even to the point where it outright ignored emotional concepts such as hate, rage, bitterness, jealousy and so many others. All Magic saw was six umans in deep emotional turmoil, and all of which just wanted to be happy.
That was why Magic was determined to give them a great and wonderful gift that they would certainly use to fix their lives for the better. Though it both knew and had no idea what a 'wish' was, Magic knew that it was the key to solving the unhappiness of these two families. After all, what better way to make them happy again by allowing their greatest wishes to come true?
In the time it took a hummingbird's heart to beat once, Magic selfless bonded itself to the individuals. It would be a part of them until they died, if they died, and although it did seem a bit unwise, Magic decided that it would fully give itself to them. No interference on part of it's own reasoning, it would be completely bound to the will and whims of the individuals from this moment until the end of their moments. It was brought into this reality to make a difference in their lives, and it would make a difference in their lives no matter what.
