Sasha got home from that weird antique store with the tome, she silently took it to her room and placed it on her bed, staring at it for a while. She wasn't sure if she believed what the cashier had told her about it, "mystical ancient powers of a forgotten cult", and all that. It was a really cool find regardless and Sasha loved old books anyway, so she had gotten it. She didn't expect it to be written in any language she knew, not that she knew many, barely more than English, if her grade in Spanish class meant anything. So she didn't even bother opening it. She slid it onto her bookcase next to a "The Complete Tales and Poems of Edgar Allan Poe" and one of her Lovecraft books. Then, she excited nestled into bed to work on her current book, which took up the rest of her evening that Friday.
That night, she had turbulent dreams. Dreams of being ridiculed while naked at school. She awoke in a cold sweat then quickly went back to sleep. This time, she was bigger, but so was everyone else. Not taller or stronger, or bigger in some other mental way, she was fatter. Though this time she was not alone, there were a few other girls with her. They were all still being laughed at, though, and she suddenly awoke again. Back to sleep, this time she was fatter, fatter than she thought she could ever get and there were more people being ridiculed for being fat; but this time, Sasha felt some sort of confidence building insider herself, some sense of security in the large number of large friends around her. She gently awoke and fell asleep again while trying to check the time. This dream now, it was different. She stood, though the action looked near impossible with just how much of her there was, with many other classmates well near the same size. She noted that she was visibly the largest. They stood circled around the mockers and the pointers, those who had laughed at them for daring to not be thin. Now they were the ones being pointed and laughed at. Now they were the ones who felt small and alone. Though not for long, as Sasha merely thought of them being fatter and they started to swell up, joining the flabby ranks of her followers. She looked around her round self and saw all the fat faces looking back. She smiled, laid back, and relaxed as they fed her and themselves, and huge party of fattening.
Sasha bolted upright in bed, the early morning sun shimmering through her window. She threw her covers off and grabbed her soft belly. She looked at it closely, looked the same as before, and her boobs felt the same size too. She caught her breath and looked around, everything was exactly as she left it last night except one thing. The Tome was laying on her night stand. Perfectly recollecting the dream, she opened the book for the first time and looked at it's musty pages. She was amazed to see that the words were all written in English, or at least with Latin characters, though there was some weirdness, some letters looked like they were moving. She rubbed her eyes and it stopped, so she brushed it off. She read the page in front of her.
