Chapter #4

Walking Small(er)

    by: Derpus Author IconMail Icon
It was early in the morning when you were coming home from buying some coffee before getting ready for work. You rolled your eyes at the usual jokes made about it stunting your growth before grabbing it and leaving. You pulled your mask down to take a sip before immediately pulling it back up. You didn't need the mask. It was more of a security thing. Part of being "gifted" with eternal youth meant that you weren't able to grow facial hair, and it made folks mistake you for a little kid. They weren't technically wrong, but you hated being reminded of how young you looked. Kids don't get respected. Adults do. And hiding your youth at least helped with your self-esteem. Before you could take a second sip, you were suddenly surrounded in a familiar bright teal light! "Oh fuck, not again!", you cried, dropping your coffee as you suddenly began to shrink! It took only a few of seconds for you to be reduced down to just two inches tall! As you heard a familiar sadistic giggling, you groaned. "Goddammit... I bet it was that little brat..."

You were suddenly plucked up off of the ground and sighed as you hung there with the back of your shorts gripped between their finger and thumb. "Look, whatever it is you want for free, you can have-" As you looked at the face of the person who picked you up, your eyes went wide in fear. She was a short, dark-skinned woman with shoulder-length red hair, and a very thick figure. She was wearing a black sports bra and a pair of purple lycra mini shorts, along with a purple sweatband and some running shoes. "M-Mom?!"

"Hiya, Iggy", Camilla chuckled as she placed you on the palm of her hand. "Didn't expect to see my precious baby boy on my morning walk." Your world suddenly went dark as she pressed her face into you and gave you a big kiss, her lips completely engulfing your body. It almost felt like you were going to be sucked in before she took her face back. Your mother owned a good amount of the businesses in Spectrum Bay, one of them being Lucha Burger, the restaurant that you were tasked with running. Anyone else would jump at the chance to be put in charge of a business that was owned by their parents, but you weren't working there by choice. You wanted independence more than anything, but your mom squashed any opportunity to get away from her, insisting on keeping an eye on her baby boy. "I can't have ya workin' like this, so I'll just let the employees know you're sticking with mama."

You wanted to scream. Yet again, your mother was directing your life. It was probably stupid of you, but you had enough. "Dammit, mom!", you shouted, "I'm not a baby! I can do shit for myself, you know!"

You quickly realized what a mistake you had made as Camilla narrowed her eyes and glared down at you before a smirk formed on her face. "Alright then, Iggy", your mom chuckled. "So you think you're a big boy now, huh?"

"Um... y-you could just grow me back to normal..."

"Oh no", Camilla replied. "You said you could do stuff for yourself, 'memba?"
You groaned as your mom snickered down at you. You should have known better than to talk back to her. She may have coddled you, but any time you lashed out, she made sure to make you regret it. "Buuuuuut... you ain't much use to me at work like this... What to do..."

1) Your mom has you go to work in your shrunken state and will grow you back if you make it through the day... on the condition that you train your younger sister

2) Your mom has you go to work in your shrunken state and will grow you back if you make it through the day... but you're helping Gina at the pizzeria

3) She lets you try and figure out a way to return to normal on your own

4) it's mommy/son bonding time
