Just as you wondered what you would be doing for the day you felt a tapping on your shoulder, this was usually a bad sign and turning around to see Zelina and Nattie the latter of which was waving a short distance away. You decided against jumping back since that seemed to encourage them to do something weird to you. "Whadda you want Zelina?" you asked suspiciously
She had a tiny little smile like she would never do anything wrong in the world, which you knew was a total fake. "I heard that Mary's birthday was commin up and wanned to see what you said she wanted cause you don't know nothin about girls." Well it was always suspicious when Zelina was talking about things she knew better than you and especially when it came to Mary. But you had totally forgotten about Mary's birthday coming up! You had asked your mom to help you with a present a while ago but that day you got eaten by a frog girl before you went shopping.
"I-I was gonna get her uh, flowers. Mary likes flowers." You countered, which was true but you weren't going to admit that you had nearly forgotten either.
Zelina sighed and shook her head. "You should get something that will last for a while, flowers is for dates silly." She admonished like she was so high and mighty.
"Oh yeh you're so good at it what were YOU gonna get her." You masterfully reversed the conversation, after all as the younger sister she was a few years behind your experience, you wouldn't be suckered so easily in fact she clasped her hand over her mouth gasping.
"You're right! we should get her something together, that way we don't mess up." She capitulated easily holding out her hand like she was going to drag you along somewhere, man if only it was this easy to trick her every time.
