This choice: One of the remaining jewels breaks while Eirika is looking at it • Go Back...Chapter #9Small mistrust will lead to a bigger problem. by: Rob   Eirika continues to look at bracelet and feels the other jewels with her figure tips, Colm stands their a slight blush on his face from the green hair young woman holding his hand for what seems like quite long time. Neimi stands there wondering what will happen next.
"I-I think that's enough looking at the good," Colm said as he tries to push Eirika's hand away.
"I'm still examining it," Eirika replies without taking her eyes on the bracelet as Colm's annoyance with the princess grew.
"Look if you want to examine it more, how about buying it off me?" Colm asks, maybe since Eirikia has an interest in the bracelet she would buy it and if not at least he can get her to let go of him.
"I don't think so. You still haven't explain how you got this bracelet," Eirika answers back and looks the thief in the eyes.
"Hey, I found it in some chest that's in the area," Colm replies back, it's the truth and that should put the end to it Eirika's questioning.
Eirika gives Colm an questionable look about his answer, this causes the green hair young woman to tighten her grip on the bracelet for a breif second. Colm could feel bit of extra pressure on his hand and the thief gives the swordwoman a glare.
"It's true Eirika," Neimi speaks up at seeing the trouble brewing. "I saw him taking it out of chest,"
"I'll take you're word on this Neimi," Eirika says as she lets go of Colm, even though Colm's trust is questionable the green hair lord knew she could trust Neimi's word on the matter.
"Really.... you can't trust me," Colm thought, he thought maybe he gain a bit of Eirika's trust since he fought along side her. "Maybe she's not the nice princess that everyone talks about if she can hold a grudge," Colm in so much thought didn't notice that when Eirika was looking at the bracelet, one of the jewels broke. Even Eirika and Neimi didn't notice the jewel shards since the were having a conversation.
Eirika's slowing shrinking starts to kick in as well.
"Now let's get back to camp. It's about time time for dinner," Eirika said as she takes the lead for the group.
"That sounds wonderful," Neimi said, the archer is quite hunger after fighting for so long.
"Whatever," Colm whispers to himself, the thief forgetting about what was bugging him about Neimi.
So the group starts to walk back to the camp, Eirika and Neimi talk to each other while no noticing their slowly reduce heights and Colm not really paying attention since he is in a bad mood.  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
