As you stare at your now empty drawer, you can feel a presence behind you. You turn around to see your older sister Jacqueline, with the remote in her hands! You're not sure why she was digging around in your room for, but it's not going to end well if you let somebody else who doesn't know about the remote use it! Especially when she has it pointed at you!
"H-Hey, Jacqueline....did you need something?" You ask her, trying to act casually in the moment.
Jacqueline's facial expression doesn't change.
"Where did you get something like this?" She directs a question at you instead, indicating at the remote.
"L-like what?" You answer, playing dumb.
"Like this remote that shrinks things." She says with force. "And don't act like it doesn't, I've already tried it on your desk."
You turn to look at your desk, or at least you would but it's gone! You definitely fixed it before you left, so Jacqueline must have hit it with the remote a second time! If that's the case, then her pointing the remote at you just got a lot more dangerous! She couldn't be planning to hit you with it could she? Regardless, you decide to answer the question and stall for time, until you can think of a way out of this.
"I don't know, it kinda just appeared on my desk when I woke up this morning." You answer.
Jacqueline sneers.
"Yeah right. You probably got this somewhere and planned to use it for something creepy didn't you?" She accuses. While not entirely off base, you definitely didn't plan this! If she shrunk you thinking you were bad this'd go from bad to worse!
"No! I'm being serious! I haven't seen it before today!" You shout, but at a volume where the rest of your family wouldn't hear the commotion.
"Don't bother, I know that's a lie." She cuts you off angrily. "Maybe I should just give you what you wanted." She threatens, re-aiming the remote.
This is bad! If you don't do something she's going to hit you with the remote! You try to think of something to say to convince her but it might be too late! You're not sure how charged the remote is, especially since it's already been used again, but maybe it doesn't have enough power and you can get the remote back if you charge at her before she gets a chance to use it?
