You think to yourself for a second about her question, before brushing it partially off for now, something in the back of your head told you that maybe you did like this a bit more than you knew, but for now that was unimportant.
You refocus on her recommendation to test out if you can shrink yourself. Unbeknownst to you, Monika was perfectly aware of whether or not this would work.
"Okay, so if I want to go about this the same way- hey Monika, do you have a uh, a mirror on you or anything?" When you grew Monika, you saw both her current self, and her old size together, so maybe it would work the same way, but with shrinking.
"Yeah, I got one right here with me, do you need to borrow it for this?", you respond in affirmation. "Well then, what do we say when we need something?", you give her a light smirk and say please, so she gives you the mirror.
You look at yourself in the mirror, and focus on both images of yourself, one short and you now. Monika stands in silence, watching you focus. Seeing you enjoying her gift to you while also spending some time alone with you, makes her really happy.
While she is lost in her thoughts of how much she loves you, you continue to focus.
