"Come on you two, we haven't got all day." Natalie clapped her hands, trying to hurry things along. Ever since she had been promoted to assistant supervisor she had picked up her game a lot and didn't want to let anyone, including herself, down. "Steven would have already been unloading the truck by now." she added, as Josh and Daniel looked in her direction.
"Then why isn't he out here doing this?" Daniel questioned, eliciting a raised eyebrow from Natalie.
Natalie wasn't impressed by the bit of backchat from Daniel. "Because he and Ellie are helping Liz with stock inventory in the warehouse, that's why. Now how about you stop being clever and get on with your job okay?" she said, as politely as she could, given the circumstances. Shaking her head slightly, Natalie then retreated back into the store and made sure the customers were being served properly by the other staff. It was mid afternoon already and it was Natalie's job, while Liz was downstairs, to keep things running smoothly on the shop floor.
Meanwhile, Josh and Daniel looked at each other and started grumbling, as they got on with their jobs.
Titania heard all this being said, but she was too distracted by the surroundings she found herself in, in particular the building filled with people. She noticed a great any of them were wearing the same color tops, some sort of uniform perhaps? The small being flitted about the unfamiliar building, angered by the fact that none of the humans seemed to be bothered about what had become of the land. She just didn't understand any of it.
"Disgusting creatures!" Titania scowled, as she flew around, whizzing past three of the Wilko team, Mona, Darrell and one of the newer employees, Michelle.
The Fairy Queen already had a notion of what kind of punishment was in order.
