6 year old Mike was a very curious child. The young boy wanted to see what his parents had been up to these last few weeks. Both his parents were scientists and were usually working on something interesting and fun. Stranger yet, his parents had never been nearly as secretive about their work as they had recently. It was time the puppy found out what his parents were doing.
Mike's mom and dad had just left for the evening. They were celebrating a major breakthrough in their work. It was perfect time for young Mike to sneak down into the basement, where the two had a small lab. True, there was a babysitter in the house at the moment, but she looked too enthralled with her phone to notice anything.
On his tiptoes, Mike soon made his way down to the basement. Soon he was in the lab and looking around for clues of what his mom and dad were doing. However, he didn't see anything. No weird science equipment, no new devices. All the boy could see was a bottle of candy-like pills on edge of the desk.
