Chapter #6Staying with Braixen by: irven   Sitting on Braixen’s cupped paws, with the enormous fox right in front of you, you felt strangely safe and secure. Even though you had only known her for a short amount of time, she had handled your tiny, fragile body with such care and gentleness, and promised to keep you safe. You started to trust her and believe that it was best to stay with her. Besides, Braixen was probably strong enough to fend off the kinds of weak Pokémon that were common in forests. As long as you stuck with her, you believed she could protect you.
Braixen cocked her head to the side as she watched you. She could tell you were deep in thought, and she wondered what was on your mind, but before she could ask, you talked.
“I... I trust you,” you said.
Braixen gasped, but then grinned widely. She quickly moved you to her fluffy chest and pushed you into her fur with both paws, giving you a tight hug. You squirmed a bit, but her soft paws and soft fur cushioned you and made it so her embrace wasn’t crushing. You smiled as you enjoyed the feeling.
“Thanks,” the Pokémon said as she hugged you. “I’m really glad you trust me. You won’t regret it. I’m gonna keep you safe. And I’m sure we’ll enjoy each other’s company!”
“I hope so,” you said. “But I do have a question.”
“Yes?” the fox asked as she ended her hug, now holding you on her palms again, in front of her face.
“I can’t stay tiny forever. And if I won’t be getting any help from humans, maybe you can help me instead. Now, I know Fennekin, Braixen, and Delphox have strong psychic abilities. In fact, we humans sometimes call your powers ‘magic’. I was wondering... if I stay with you, do you think you can use your magic to grow me back to normal?”
Braixen considered your question for a bit, then replied...
