This choice: A vast forest of strange, green trees (backyard) • Go Back... The new world in front of you was not the suburban area you saw on the screen, instead you were looking at a lush jungle that you were currently on. "This isn't want I wanted to go. Did the faults in my machine sent me here by accident?" you wondered in your head and make your first into this strange world.
The plants of this jungle looks huge, but they also look a bit weird too. Many of the trees have no branches at all; they're basically tall, skinny, and completely green. The ones that do have branches were taller than the ones without them. The branches were the same color as the trunks (green); they were round and flat. On the top of those trees, they each have what looks like colorful petals. "What the heck? Why do they look like flowers?" you asked yourself. There's no way a flower can grow that tall unless they were as old as trees back in your world. "Well this is a new world after all." You walk towards your machine and press a button on the left side. It soon shrinks down and becomes pocket-sized. You put the now mini-sized machine in your pocket to make sure you don't lose it. Now that you are ready, you start your journey across this jungle.
With the exceptions of birds singing, the whole place is strangely quiet as you walk forward. You suspect that sooner or later, a wild predator is lurking around here getting ready to pounce on you in a few second. Aren't jungles supposed to be humid and warm? It is pretty warm though, but there was some bit of a cool breeze blowing around you. This feels more temperate than tropical; you kinda wonder if this is not really a jungle, but a rather weird type of forest since it's a new world and all.
You were about to settle and take a break on a random spot when suddenly, you briefly hear something within this forest. You stood there and listen carefully at the mysterious sound and it sounds like voices but not just any voices, it sounded like singing along with music. "There's people around here too?" you asked from inside your head "But why would anyone sing and make music in a place like this?" You decided to go and investigate yourself while listening carefully to the song.
The music was slowly getting louder and louder as you go and can make it out more clearly. It sounds like it's sung by a young female that was accompanied by pop music. "Okay, I'm not sure why would anybody sing pop music in the middle of a forest like this, but I better get to the bottom of this." you said. Suddenly, a loud buzzing sound is heard from above as a large shadow swept past you. "What the hell was that?!" you said in surprise "Was that a bird? No way, birds don't buzz. Was that a bug? No way, bugs are not huge." You just ignored it and continue to search for the source of the music.
You were getting closer because the music was now louder than ever. At the corner of your eye, you saw what looks like a giant structure; it must be someone's house or something and that's were they are singing. You brush off the strange plant in front of you and finally got a better look at the structure, and that's were you noticed something very off about it.
The "house" looks nothing like one at all, instead it looks more like a huge boombox. You first thought it was house, but you hear the music coming from the speakers rather than from inside it like an actual boombox. It was so big that you thought it was some kind of a house that happens to looks like one. That's not the only odd thing you noticed. You were so focused on looking ahead that you didn't saw another strange thing above you as the whole location you were on is now covered in a large shadow plus the singing happens to come from there instead of the giant boombox. You look up to see a giant yellow..thing that was floating from above. "What is that? A UFO?" you asked out loud. You now have so many questions in your head that you believe that your head was going to explode at this moment. You quickly approach and climb on one of the plants to get a better look at this world right now because you seriously want to know what's going on around here. You didn't bother to look around while climbing, you just want to wait until you get to the top. It took you a good 10 or so seconds to get on top of this tree and finally you got a bit of a better look of this new world.
When you did, you NEVER expected to see something like this.
First things first, you are not in a jungle or any type of forest. You were in the same place you wanted to go; which was the suburbia that you saw in the screen as you saw a row of houses and other things. Second, this place is humongous! Is this world supposed to be like this to outsiders like yourself or did the bug in your machine shrink you down to nearly the size of a flea? You don't believe it what you are looking at, you were so tiny that you mistook the front yard for a jungle. And finally, you turn around to see who was singing the song you heard earlier.
And there, you saw HER!
Sitting on top of the gigantic beach chair (the object that was "floating" above you is in fact that) and singing rather loudly was a giant girl. She appears to be a 16 year old teenager with short blonde hair which was pretty frizzy. The only thing she's wearing is a pink-green bikini which means she's probably sunbathing and singing at the same time. All you could do was stare in shock at sight you witnessed; it was in fact an inhabitant of this enormous world who in the eyes of the others, is just a normal teenage girl, but in your eyes, she was the biggest thing you ever see.
The girl continues to sing very loudly which caused you to take out some pieces of cotton (why would you take them with you is a mystery) and put them in your ears. It still noisy but at least it's not enough to damage your eardrum. You still watch this girl sing the songs from the boombox and you gotta admit she does look very attractive for a teen girl.
Should you get a closer look at her and explore around her for uh....research? Or just stay hidden at the moment?   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
