You‘re a 14 year old teen. You‘re parents died when you were very young and you have been living a many orphanages over the years but they just kept pushing you around. They always send you away when you get into trouble. You have a kind heart but are too protective of the younger children, so whenever someone bullies them, you get physical with the bullies. That‘s how you usually get kicked out. Many of the orphanages are abusive so you‘re glad when you can leave them behind. You were just kicked out again. “Why do you have to get physical ever single time, Elle?” your social worker asks, but you have given up explaining yourself to him. You don‘t really like talking in general, that‘s also why you‘re getting physical so easily. “Alright Elle, luckily I found a foster family who are willing to take you in. But you‘ll have to take the train by yourself. Here‘s your ticket and the address. Come on, I‘ll take you to the station.” You stand up and follow him, you get to the station, he says goodbye and you enter the train. You‘re happy that the train is very empty and choose a window seat. The ride was going to be a couple of hours so you decide to sleep a little. “Excuse me? Hi? Are you awake?” “who sends such a little girl on a train by herself? It‘s so unresponsible” you hear the voice saying to someone else. I‘m not a little girl, teenagers travel by themselves all the time. Just leave me alone. You think to yourself. To avoid any interaction you just keep pretending you‘re asleep. “Do you think we should take her to the police? I don‘t really know, I‘m not comfortable leaving her here.” Just mind your own business! - you think yourself. But then you feel someone picking you up and being placed on their hip. You decide it‘s safest to just keep faking to be asleep. They take you to the police, the people from the train talk to officers about how they found you and how they had a weird feeling about just leaving you there. “It‘s good that you brought her here. You‘ve never seen here before? Every little detail is important for our investigation. Someone out there is missing their toddler.” Toddler?? I‘m a little small but definitely not a toddler!! What‘s going on?? “No, we have no idea. Can we leave her with you? We need to get going.” “Uh, yeah sure.” they officers say and then you‘re handed to a female officer. You peak for a second a see how they also take your backpack. At least you still have that with you, such a relieve. You notice how the officer holds you thightly and you feel very safe with her. “Oh, did someone wake up? My name is Amelia. You‘re safe with me now. What‘s your name?“ she asks. You decide to..
