“Chickens, cows, and fluffy sheep!” Nora sang, as she packed her bags. “How long has it been since we saw a real farm, Renny?”
“Only two months before we arrived at Beacon.” Ren answered. His bag was neatly packed and he was mentally going over everything once more to make sure he didn’t forget anything.
“How many Grimm are we looking at?” Pyrrha asked. “I need to make sure I bring enough ammo.”
“It says only a pair of Beowolves was spotted,” Jaune replied, handing her the folder. “But we should expect a few more.”
“Hardest part would be finding them and making sure we eliminate the pack,” Ren pointed out, looking over. “As we have a map, we shouldn’t have trouble locating their lair.”
“And then we can go and play with all the animals.” Nora added and the rest of the team laughed.
“Sure we can,” Jaune assured her. “Just make sure we have the farmers’ permission first.” Jaune packed his last shirt in and closed his bag. It took a little effort to close and zip it up, due to the fact it wasn’t very neat. As he moved his bag to the door, he felt the remote shift in his pocket. His eyes darted around the room. The rest of his team was busy and wouldn’t notice him use the remote. Of course, they were his friends, not only his teammates. He could show them the remote. At the very least, Pyrrha.
The possibility the remote was a hoax still existed, since he hadn’t tried it out yet. There was a little time before they had to leave. It wouldn’t be difficult to find a test subject.
