When you wake up, you find yourself standing in an alleyway in what appears to be a perfectly normal Earth city, with perfectly normal humans walking by on the sidewalk near you. As you walk out to the main road, you can immediately tell you're in America based on the stores around, and a quick glance at a car's license plate tells you that this must be New York City.
"What the hell?" you think, walking slowly down the street, "I thought I was going to one of the League of Legends worlds, why am I in New York?" As you round a corner, however, all doubts in your mind are squashed by the sight of a massive billboard: "K/DA: ONE NIGHT ONLY AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN". Below it is a date, which you confirm on a nearby newspaper stand to be tonight. "Oh sick, I'm in the K/DA world? I gotta get into that concert!" Just one problem... if it's tonight, then the tickets are almost definitely already sold out.
Not that that will stop you, however - you have a magical gauntlet that lets you possess people. It might be tricky for you to get close to the K/DA girls, but who says you need to go straight to them? All you need to do is possess someone with tickets, and you're in!
Luckily, you had some money on you when you warped here, and since this world seems to be just an alternate Earth your cash should work just fine, so you decide to take the subway over to Madison Square Garden. When you get off the subway, you start walking the rest of the way, but don't make it very far before you see the massive line out the door. You almost sigh at how long it is, before you remember your plan. "Never been one to cut in line before, but who's gonna stop me?" Walking up behind the last person in line, a single woman wearing an Ahri t-shirt, you look around to see if anyone's looking before pressing your gauntlet against their back and focusing your will.
As you do, your vision blacks out before returning from a slightly different perspective - you did it! You look down and briefly look over your new body - definitely different than you're used to, but it's not like you'll be staying. Before you can move on, however, the gauntlet glows once more and you suddenly feel slightly dizzy. Once you've steadied yourself, you realize that you now have your host's memories! Her name is Anne, she's been a fan of Ahri since her Pop Star days, and is so happy at how far she's come. Cute.
Unfortunately, you didn't get attached to a magical gauntlet of possession just to settle for some woman named Anne. Focusing on the gauntlet once more, you reach out and touch the person in front of you, quickly feeling yourself transfer into their body as your vision blinks out momentarily. Now you're Tom, single father of two young daughters standing next to you, who begged and begged for you to take them to the concert. You reach out again to move into the next person in line - Kevin, a big fan of Evelynn (though he'd never admit it). Vivian. Rachel. Riley. Chris. Erin.
Before you know it, you've moved up the entire line, leaving a trail of vaguely dizzy people behind you, and you now find yourself in Millie - a young woman who absolutely adores Seraphine, to the point of dying her hair pink just to look like her (she was a little heartbroken when Seraphine debuted her blue hair, but trusts that it's just for this tour, and Sera will go back to her natural pink soon enough). Millie's been to every K/DA concert in the United States, and is hoping to finally meet Seraphine at this one and tell her how much she's changed her life, which is why she got here early enough to be at the front of the line - she's hoping to win one of the backstage passes they give away to a random selection of attendees. You smile as you settle into Millie's body. "Don't you worry, Millie," you think to yourself, "I'll get us in to see them."
Finally, the gate opens, and you rush forward to the ticket collector, handing them Millie's ticket (which is only slightly damp from her sweaty hand), and wait in suspense as the handler checks your ticket. Unfortunately, it seems luck was not on Millie's side today - her ticket wasn't one of the selected few. You feel her disappointment as strongly as you would your own - it seems all of your bodyhopping has strengthened your bond with the gauntlet - before you realize that while Millie might be out of luck, that doesn't mean you have to be.
As you walk towards the arena, you look around through Millie's thick glasses, before you recognize a face Millie had seen at almost all of the concerts she had been to - a tall, broad shouldered blonde woman wearing a dark suit and an earpiece - she must be on K/DA's personal security! Vaguely, you feel like you recognize her too, but can't quite seem to figure out who she is. No matter, though, as you've found your next ride. You walk up to her and ask, "Excuse me, um... can you help me find my seat?" Millie's naturally nasally voice belies your true intentions, as the woman glares at you, but relents and holds out her hand to take your ticket. Bingo.
At the moment your hands touch, you transfer over and immediately realize why she looked familiar - "I'm Leona!" So Leona's a security guard in the musicverse? Heh, guess it makes sense. You look at Millie's ticket, ready to send her on her way, before you have a thought. Eh, might as well do something nice for the kid. Least I can do for using her body to get in. "Hey, didn't I see you at a few of the other concerts?" you say, Leona's strong voice carrying the weight of her authority.
"Um... yeah I might've been to one or two, yeah," Millie says, looking away nervously. "or... all of them."
"You know, the girls really do enjoy meeting fans, and you sure seem dedicated. We've got some time before the show, want to go say hi?" you ask, giving her a friendly smile.
Millie's eyes go wide, "OMG!" she says, enunciating the actual letters instead of their real meaning. "That would be... that would be so amazing! Are... are you sure it's ok??"
"Yeah, why not." You turn, motioning for her to follow. "As long as we're quick, they won't mind." Millie ecstatically starts walking behind you as you lead her through the secure doors to the backstage area. You go down several winding hallways, Leona's security badge getting you through any locked doors, before you finally arrive at the central green room, where the two of you are greeted with the sight of none other than...
