PATIENT PROCEDURE TYPE: COSMETIC

ADDITIONAL NOTES: PATIENT TO REPORT EXCLUSIVELY TO DR. KIRKPATRICK

Working the reception desk, Evan had access to some patient information. It wasn't a whole lot, just enough to answer some basic questions if incoming patients to the lab had any minor issues. The lion pulled up the day's scheduled appointments and easily found the entry for the mouse. There were two things that stuck out to him. First, that his file specifically stated that he needed to report to and only to Dr. Kirkpatrick. It was strange that the Doctor himself would come down to collect a patient. But it was even stranger that the mouse was only seeing Dr Kirkpatrick. This, Evan reasoned, meant that the Doctor was working solo on this patient which at Episteme Labs was pretty much unheard of. And second, whatever the mouse came in for, it was for a cosmetic procedure. The Lab sometimes did kinds of cosmetic projects, so that isn't too out of the ordinary. But the mouse spent all day there and left looking absolutely massive. So what kind of cosmetic procedure makes someone has an incredibly engorged belly afterwards?

Looking up Ethan's patient profile raised more questions than it answered. It wasn't too late in the evening, so if Evan felt adventurous, he could sneak into some of the more protected files if he managed to find an access cards. But then again, he might not want to push his luck. It looks like the mouse will be in tomorrow too. So he could find out a bit more then.
