"Alright, big cat, flex those arms! Show off those biceps!"

Levi snapped several photos as Evan, wearing only a pair of y-front briefs, flexed his arms. Though the lion hadn't been weight lifting for long, he had been making noticeable progress. Biceps were growing, his chest was firming up with muscle, his quads were thickening up, and his gluts were growing. Certainly, he was no mountain of muscles, but the lion still had beefed up a little bit. The furs were at Levi's house where, in addition to a private gym, the horse had made a spare room into a photo studio to document Evan's progress.
"And turn around, tail up, we ne-" The horse was cut off by a knocking on his front door. "Huh, I wasn't expecting anyone today. Maybe a delivery or something. Let's take a break, Evan. There's a protein shake in the fridge for you. Drink that while I see what's up."
The lion stood nearly naked in the kitchen drinking from a shaker bottle when Levi stepped in ten minutes later. Following him was another fur, a zebra. Much like Levi, tall and with a unkempt mane of black hair, the zebra was quite muscular with bulky arms and thick quads and a beefy chest. However, this fur's gut was significantly bigger. Still round and firm, it stretched the tank top his was wearing to its absolute limit. The two furs were chuckling together when the zebra walked in and saw Evan.
"Woah, Levi. Who's this? Your new boyfriend or something?" asked the zebra.
"Ha, no," said Levi. "This is Evan. He's, uh, my newest client."
"Client, huh? Is that what you're calling them these days?" joked the zebra. He reached out towards Evan to shake. "The name's Mac."
"Nice to meet you, Mac" said Evan as they shook.
"Mac and I have been friends for ages," Levi cut in. "Apparently, he's in town for a few weeks!"
"Sure am. Has Levi been treating you well?" he asked.
"Oh yeah!" said Evan as he flexed his bicep again.
The zebra laughed. "How long have you been seeing Levi?"
"Oh, only for a few weeks," replied Evan.
"Huh, so I guess you're not giving him any Juice? Making him work for it?" Mac asked Levi. The horse hushed Mac.
"Any what?" asked Evan.
"Wow, look at the time!" said Levi. "Isn't it time for you to head back to your hotel, Mac?"
"Yeah, I guess so," chuckled Mac as Levi wrapped an arm around him, pulling him in the direction of the front door. "Hey, hang on, wait a minute!" Mac reached into his jeans pocket and pulled a wallet. The zebra pulled a business card from it and slid it across the kitchen counter towards Evan. "Here, call me if you need a workout buddy and Levi's too busy..."
"I'm sure he won't need it!" Levi said, practically dragging the zebra out of the kitchen.
Alone in the kitchen again, Evan picked up the business card.

As the lion finished off his protein shake, he remembered what the zebra said about some sort of Juice stuff. Would it help him bulk up faster? If so, why did Levi try and shut up Mac about it?   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
