Okay, so Sarafina has become the Mother of both Simba and Nala in this AU, making them brother and sister. And no, don't give me the argument of their siblings with two different mothers. That was never proven fact by Disney, and even The Lion King's spin off series in 2016, The Lion Guard, proved against that. Moving on.
Sarafina's mother to Simba and Nala, but before we press further into the story, one more question. Should we add in Mheetu into the mix?
(Please note that for those who may not be aware of who Mheetu is, Mheetu was a character put forth in the early stages of Lion King's development, and was removed from the story before production of the film was completed. In some adaptations, he was known as Nala's little brother, and in some of early drafts was characterized as a tag along, while in others, was too young to venture off from Pride Rock. In one story draft of another adaptation, if my memory serves me correctly, he was also listed as Simba's little brother, and he was the one who had been in the Stampede, with Simba and Mufasa both trying to save him, but both killed in the Stampede, and him running away similar to the scenario of what we see in the film with Simba. It's been a while, but this was based off of research I did a while back for how the Lion King Film came about.)
