Biography: If anyone is to be found spontaneously breaking into song and dance, you can make a sure bet that it's Zinnia City's brightest star, Gloria. The movie actress's real name is actually Aralia, but after her hit role in the film 'Madagascar', her fans kept often referring to her as the character she played, and has since taken it to heart. She's the one to get caught up in the excitement of the moment, and like a true entertainer she wants everyone around her to feel the same way!
As time went on and Gloria's popularity soared, her fans had noticed that her weight had too. It's an open secret that their favorite star is a predator, what with all the missing actors on set and her ever expanding body, but no one seemed to care too much. No one else in the movie industry is as generous with her time and energy as she is, but lately she's been feeling a little exhausted from the spotlight. To liven her up, the studio execs have put together a contest for her favorite fan to come and visit her, which always puts the hippo in a happy mood.

Name: Shenzi
Age: 40
Species: Hyena
Biography: The Queen of Zinnia City's criminal underworld that rules with an Iron Paw, always scheming to take on more territory and more affluence whilst never loosing her composure. Sassy and playful, yet slow to anger, Shenzi moved up the ranks of the criminal empire thanks to her crafty intellect and competent leadership. While she may be viscous with a cruel sense of humor, those who are loyal to her can find a soft spot underneath her hardened mask, and she limits how much damage her underlings can actually do to the city.
Queen Shenzi has gained quite the reputation for her tendency to eat her criminal rivals, which has resulted in a record pummel of ZC's crime rate, while her weight skyrockets. Thanks to the unofficial truce with the police, her empire has been allowed to flourish, only ever getting trouble from the Flock. It's hard to tell if there's a good person underneath all of that fur and fat, but one thing about her can be said with the most confidence: She's here to stay, and she'll do whatever it takes to do so.

Name: Friedkin
Age: 43
Species: Polar Bear
Biography: The Police Chief of Zinnia City doesn't receive as much attention as the mayor or the criminal overlords, but she plays a major role behind the scenes ensuring the citizens feel safe and secure. It's her job to be tough and demanding, as shown by all the criminals that she has 'processed', but not heartless and will give first time offenders a stern warning. Sassy as her criminal 'partner' and having no sense of an indoor voice, she gets just as much loyalty from her cops as Shenzi does from her thugs.
Often, she works as a drill instructor at the Police Academy, and is a tad infamous for her unorthodox methods for grading the recruits. The one's who don't pass the tests? They earn themselves a one way ticket to the Polar Bear's 'holding cell'. She has nothing but pride for the ones that get to pass, as few as they are, and are often rewarded with more than just a badge; they get her respect.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
