Naruto was investigating a recently discovered temple near the border with Lightning country with a team of scientists trying to see what the temple was built for. Naruto also had a few other shinobi with his as part of a team consisting of Kurenai Yuhi, Hinata Hyuga, and Shino Aburame. Now normally Kiba would be with them but he had a training accident and broke his leg so Naruto is filling in his spot for now.
As Naruto was inspecting a nearby wall, he fails to notice the floor around him starting to crumble, "Naruto-kun, get away from there," said Hinata but the warning came too late as Naruto falls thru the floor deep under the temple. As Naruto feel thru the floor, a team from Kumo decides to make their presence known as they try to claim the temple for their village but then Kurenai's team fights them as the scientist try to stay out of the way, but one of the Kumo shinobi jumps down the hole Naruto fell thru. As Naruto gets up he notices he is in a chamber with a pedestal in the middle that has a strange looking idol on top of it.
What Naruto doesn't know is that idol holds a powerful spirit inside known to curse those that have it in their possession. Naruto walks forward carefully to avoid any traps in the room but finds none as he reaches the pedestal. Naruto grabs the idol only for it to crumble away and the spirit inside decides to inhabit Naruto since it needs a host or object to survive. Now the fox inside Naruto could have prevented the spirit from coming inside but he knew this spirit and wanted to see the fun that would happen to it's jailor.
Naruto soon hears the sounds of someone coming in and turns around to find....
AN: with any option, Naruto will fight them but something happens during the fight
