Evelyn was giddy with excitement as she stepped off the ferry onto the dock. She'd been saving up paychecks at her boring office job for months in order to embark on her latest adventure: a week long vacation on Flamingo Island, an exclusive tropical island resort. This was no typical resort however. Everyone staying for the week would be doing so in the role of someone else. Yes, each guest staying for the week was to be paired up with another guest at random and they would swap lives for the duration of their stay. What did that entail? They would be treated as each other, wear each other's clothes, experience activities their partners typically enjoyed, and more. It was going to be an interesting week for sure.
Stepping out into the sun, Evelyn paused to push her designer sunglasses down over her vibrant green eyes. She then adjusted her bra strap out underneath her red tank top, straightened out her mid-thigh length white skirt, then brushed her beautiful auburn hair back out of her face before continuing on her way. Pulling her suitcase along with her, Evelyn soon arrived at resort's hotel, where she was greeted by a cheerful young woman behind the desk.
"Welcome to Flamingo Island Resort," the woman said, a warm smile on her face.
"Hello!" Evelyn replied cheerfully. "I'm here to check in."
"Of course. Let's get you taken care of."
A few minutes later, Evelyn was waiting in a room to meet her partner. Before heading to the rooms they booked, the guests at Flamingo Island were brought to private rooms to meet their partners so they could swap clothes, suitcases, IDs, and everything else they were trading for the week as well as learn a bit about each other in order to better get settled into each other's lives.
