Evelyn was tired of her daily routine. Wake up, work, go to sleep. She didn’t like working in an office, but it was a living. Luckily she didn’t have to work on the weekends. One Saturday night, she went out clubbing with her girls and told them about her boring life. One of her friends recommended a website that specialized in matching people together to swap their lives for a specific amount of time.
On Sunday afternoon, she decided to check out this website. There wasn’t a lot of new information that her friend hadn’t told her about, so she went to fill out the questionnaire. It had some basic questions: name, age, occupancy, work, race, ethnicity,… Basically normal stuff. Then when she filled out that form, there came another one. This one was based on the person who she wanted to switch with. Age? 20-40. Race? Doesn’t matter. Gender? Evelyn thought that it could be nice to swap with a man, but she still typed doesn’t matter. Once that was filled in, she got a notification saying that they will be in touch.
Two weeks later, she got an email saying that they found a match for her. There wasn’t any description of the person on it. There was only a date and a location. Once it was time, she drove to the location. It was a small restaurant, but it didn’t really seem busy.
