"Let's talk about this, girls..." Nervous, Alex said. "Okay, I know I have long hair for a guy but there is no way I can get it as smooth as yours."
Camille smiled as Emilia took a quick picture of Alex with her phone before easing him into one of the chairs. "I'll tell you what, Alex." Grinning, she said. "Let us prove you wrong."
"If you are wrong..." Hopeful, Alex asked.
"We will start training you as a male stylist.." Calmly, Emilia replied. "If we prove you wrong, you sport one of the female styles along with the rest of us but we will still train you."
Alex thought over Emilia's offer for a moment then, albeit reluctantly, nodded. "Okay.. prove me wrong."
"We will start with a soothing shampoo and wash." Calmly, Camille said. "As I am sure you have heard, many of our clients swear I put magic into my work...."
The girls giggled, causing Alex to blush as the shampoo and wash treatment began. Camille moved her dainty fingers through Alex's hair, massaging his scalp in such away that he was completely zoned out within a minute. He did not notice the wash and shampoo was done within minutes nor did he notice that Rosie had started soaking his nails before filing them narrow and round.
"You are coming along beautifully, Alex." Softly, Emilia whispered.
"We'll see..." Still zoned out, Alex said.
Emilia smiled. "He is enjoying this more than he'd admit." Bemused, she thought.
It was not long before Alex's longish hair was brushed to shiny perfection and styled before Camille moved on to Alex's makeover. "Just hold still while I apply the make up." Softly, she said. "It would not be fair if you do not allow us to do our very best."
"Uh-huh..." Softly, Alex replied.
He was so relaxed that he was slowly nodding off. The girls softly giggled and continued with their makeover....
"Okay, Alex!" Startling him, Emilia announced. "Tell us what you think!"
Alex blinked then turned to the mirror in front of him, wide eyed in shock. "What did they do to me..."
The delicate layers of makeup gave Alex's face an angel like glow which oddly matched his near doll like features. The small shimmering diamonds clipped to his ears and the light shade of soft pink on his lips greatly enhanced the effect. The bright red color on his now rounded fingernails went well with the red cloth belt of his jeans. The long, flowing southern belle hairstyle they had given him completed the look. As he gazed at his reflection, he did not see himself but a beautiful collage girl that would certainly turn a lot of boys' heads around campus.
"So, Alex... or Alexandria..." giggling, Emilia said. "Did we prove you wrong?"
Alex blushed profusely, making him look more cute than he could realize. "Okay... you proved me wrong." Sighing, he said.
He tried to sulk but he could not hide the hint of a smile from the girls who giggled. "He likes his new look!" clapping, Rosie cheered.
"You mean she likes her new look." Grinning, Camille said. "Welcome to the team... Alexandria."
"Now, now, we have a lot of work to do before we open for business." Turning serious, Emilia said. "As promised, we all need to sport a hair and makeup style as Alex had suggested."
"I'll do your nails before I do mine." Quickly, Rosie said to Camille said.
"I'll then style your hair before doing mine." Nodding, Camille replied.
"I'll be in a chair for my makeover as soon as I finish getting Alex ready." Leading Alex away, Emilia said.
"Wait.. what?!" Nervous, Alex demanded.
"Well, it would bad for you if our clients saw through your disguise." Calmly, Emilia explained. "I mean, who knows what they would think."
Alex gulped. "So, what else do I have to do..."
Emilia giggled. "Relax, it's not as bad as you think." Bemused, she said. "We will first start with your..."
