Youngster Travis was fairly typical as far as youngsters were concerned, though he was quite strong for someone of his trainer class. The Galarian lad was fortunate enough to run into a Munchlax when out in the Wild Area, and he found his new pokemon adorable. Munchlax quickly became his favorite in the team, and he loved playing with Munchlax and cooking for him whenever he went camping. Munchlax quickly became his strongest pokemon, too, as Travis loved to battle with him, and was so proud of how his Munchlax could take a hit and deal some good damage back.
Because of how close Travis was with his Munchlax, it was only a matter of a day or two before he became good enough friends with Munchlax for the chubby little pokemon to evolve. Travis was awestruck, wondering just what his little buddy would evolve into. He was amazed when his little Munchlax turned into a behemoth of a Snorlax! Snorlax was over a half-ton, and he was even stronger than Munchlax was. Travis was so happy that he clambered up on top of his pokemon and leaped onto Snorlax's belly. Snorlax grumbled happily as Travis walked up to scratch his chin.
Travis felt like the luckiest youngster in Galar, and the impressionable young man would soon see that having a Snorlax would affect his waistline as well.
