Jaune only did it as a joke and sat down at a free table after finding the book he was actually looking for. He sat down and prepared to look for the information he needed, when he noticed a packet of paper under the Book of Reality. Jaune pulled it out and his eyes widened.
It was his essay he left back in his room.
Though it was now completed. Jaune skimmed through the pages and saw it even had the conclusion in his hand writing. He blinked and quickly opened the book to check the information was right. It turned out it was and even used the obscure footnote to answer Oobleck’s bonus request. Jaune couldn’t believe it and his eyes turned to the book.
“It…works…” He muttered.
Thousands of ideas passed through his mind as he tried to decide what to do with it. All the normal ideas passed through, money, power, fame, rid the world of Grimm, but he caught himself before he wrote anything else. He didn’t know enough about this book. It could be like a genie and grant small wishes, but a big one would screw you over. Maybe he should avoid world changing events. He didn’t know what would happen if say, all the Grimm disappeared.
He decided to keep it more focused on a single thing for now.
His first idea was giving himself some kind of Semblance or at least unlocking his own. All his friends had amazing ones, like converting electricity to power, super speed, clones, and more. He was the only one without one. This book could give him whatever he wanted. He debated creating a list to decide. Though, did he have to limit himself to that right now? His partner Pyrrha told him unlocking his Semblance would mean he discovered more about himself. There was some benefit in hard work.
Maybe he could make himself something. Something that would be impossible to obtain due to physics or reality. The book made his essay appear and created words, so maybe items were possible too. He remembered all the cool gadgets and magical items comic book characters would find. Maybe he could have one himself.
