Finally calming down, Ruby thought about it a bit. Maybe she should do some more tests. It changed her age but could it do more?
“How far should I go?” Ruby muttered to herself. She was alone in the room since her team was out. Jaune was coming over to play video games soon, so she only had a little time, and she was starving. “I know.” She pulled out her pen and wrote as she talked. “A delicious breakfast of eggs, beacon, cookies, and milk will appear on my desk and then then dishes will vanish when I’m done.”
She glanced over her shoulder and squealed.
Her breakfast was there.
Rushing over, to her desk, she scarfed down her breakfast and sighed happily. It was delicious, just like what she wrote. Once she finished, the dishes disappeared. No clean up required.
“This is the greatest thing ever!” Ruby declared and hugged the book like it was her baby. “What to do now? I would do anything? What if I gave myself a new power? Like Polarity to control poles. Or make the bestest game ever for Jaune and I to play? I could make cool devices that defy reality. Maybe get Yang to stop coddling me and let me date. What if I joined another person’s team? There’s so much I can do!”
She opened the book and prepared to write, pausing as ideas flooded through her mind.
