Neo entered her room and flopped on the bed. She was bored and hated being at Beacon. Too many rules and the teachers actually enforced them. She loved being free and doing what she wanted at the expensive of others. Emerald and Mercury were prime targets for her pranks, but Cinder was the one in charge. That woman was scary and was incredibly strong.
So Neo was forced to be on her best behavior. This was hard for a girl with sociopathic tendencies.
That mean she hid in her room a lot to avoid being tempted.
This time, when she flopped on her bed, she felt something hard under her pillow. Frowning, she reached under and pulled out a black book with gold writing. Knowing she didn’t have a book like this, she read the title.
Book of Reality.
She opened the book and read the information inside. Instantly, her eyes rolled. There was no way this was true. Simply writing down something in this book won’t do anything. Neo was going to toss the book, but something held her back. An invisible force. The book drew her to it and she frowned. It probably wouldn’t hurt to test it out. It wouldn’t work, but on the infinitely small chance it did, all of Neo’s boredom would vanish.
