Pyrrha did a small test and created a sandwich

Weirdly enough, most people when they get an object of great power, don’t go all out. There’s always that small part of them that says, try it out first and see if there are any issues. Pyrrha was like that. She was a smart girl. That’s how she was able to hide her perverted side for so long. Rather than suddenly trying to alter the world, partially because she didn’t believe in the book, she wrote something small.

I have a sandwich on my desk.

Pyrrha’s eyes widened.

On her desk, was a nice roast beef sandwich. Not her favorite, but one she enjoyed. Pyrrha walked over to it shakily and picked it up. It felt okay and then she took a bite. Nothing tasted funny, it was actually pretty good. Setting it down, she went back and picked up the book in her shaking hands.

They were shaking out of excitement, not fear.

“I can’t believe this,” Pyrrha gasped. “It works… I can do anything.”

She set it down and immediately wanted to write that Jaune would love her…

… but she stopped.

“No,” Pyrrha paused. “I don’t want to mind control him. I want him to notice me and fall for me on his own. He’s such a nice guy, but I don’t know why he doesn’t move. Does he find me unattractive? I’m a lot hotter than Weiss.” As soon as those words left her mouth, she felt bad. You can’t always choose who you were attracted to.

She looked at the book.

“I wonder if there’s a way I can set this up so he’ll notice me? Maybe spy on him a bit?”

She began to write.
