While Ruby was in awe of her new form and power, the sound of the door opening sent Ruby into a panic. She was still new to the book and didn't know whether or not others could perceive Ruby's changes. Ruby was able to scratch out the last line and revert back to normal before door opened and Weiss entered the room in an exaggerated huff
"I swear, your sister wouldn't know restraint if it hit her in the face," Weiss complained as she walked in. She was so caught up in her own struggles that she didn't notice Ruby trying, and failing, to discretely hide the book of reality.
"Training didn't go well again?" Ruby asked. "We could always use a different pair for the doubles round of the tournament."
"No, we really can't," Weiss huffed. "We all agreed that we were our best shot at victory, if only that meat head would listen to my instructions! And would it kill her to wear a bra with proper support!? We're representing Beacon and she still dresses like she's breaking into night clubs!"
Ruby sighed at Weiss continued her rant. While she was thankful her partner didn't notice the book, Weiss and Yang had begun going at it ever since the team had started training for the Vytal Festival. While the two had always been polar opposites, there hadn't been any real friction until the they had been forced to work together without their partners around. And it wasn't a one-sided friction. Ruby had to deal with Yang's complaints as well. If only there was a way to make those two get along...
What was she saying? Ruby had a magic, reality altering book. She definitely had ways to get them to reconcile. However, she didn't want to just force them to get along, that wouldn't really solve anything... and honestly, it just wouldn't be as fun.
