As she ran through the halls of Beacon, Ruby slowed down. Her new older form was telling her that using the book on herself without adequate testing was probably not the smartest thing to do. She knew of all sorts of stories and movies where someone got too powerful and accidently messed stuff up beyond repair. Or get too much power and become evil.
That saying, absolute power corrupts absolutely.
“Maybe I should do smaller tests first.” Ruby mumbled, opening the book and crossing out the previous entry. She returned back to her normal size. “But what?” She continued to walk through the halls of Beacon and turned a corner…

“Sorry!” Ruby apologized immediately. “I wasn’t watching… eep. Professor Ozpin!”
“Good morning, Miss Rose.” Ozpin smiled. “You seem distracted. Is something the matter?”
“I…” Ruby gulped. “Just been thinking.”
“Oh, about anything in particular?”
“Just about… if you had three wishes from a genie, what would they be?” Ruby asked. “And I was told genies are clever and like to twist wishes. So if you wished for world peace, something bad would happen. Like everyone vanishes. But if you don’t use the wishes, someone else will get them who might make a mistake.”
It was a movie she saw once online.
“Hmm, an interesting proposition,” Ozpin mused. “I always admired brain teasers like this. Making safe wishes would prevent bad things, but at the same time, you lose an opportunity to do good or make the world for the better.” He sipped his coffee. “If it was me, I would make a small wish, test the waters, then make a bigger one for my second one. If it doesn’t turn out like I wanted, you can use the third to cancel it out.”
“Oh… that’s really smart professor. Thanks!” Ruby smiled and rushed off before Ozpin could say another word.
