Chapter #4

Studying with Michelle

    by: bobob1 Author IconMail Icon
“I’ll show you my room. It’s where we’ll be doing the most studying.” Michelle explained. With one simple sentence, you felt your pulse race. Aside from Stacy and your mother, you had only ever been in a stranger’s bedroom once, but you spent that entire time stuck to the bottom of that girl’s foot, and weren’t even able to see anything.

Michelle headed down the hallway, taking the first right into an open door. She flicked on the lights to her bedroom, and you tried to take in the sights as much as possible. The walls and ceiling were a pleasant blue, and her queen-sized bed was covered in royal blue sheets, and made-up nicely. Michelle had a large TV, work desk, nightstand, and walk-in closet as well.

Michelle set you down on her desk gently, and then rummaged through a few drawers until she found a small stack of textbooks. She dropped them onto the desk beside you, the vibrations nearly causing you to stumble and lose your balance. Lastly, she pulled up a big plush chair and sat down in front of the desk, meeting your eyes and smiling.

“This calculus is really killing me.” Michelle groaned, grabbing the top textbook and flipping it open. You climbed up onto the book to check and see what aspect of calculus Michelle was currently on. Michelle hid a grin behind her hand, watching you walk back and forth across her book just to be able to read the sentences.

“This looks like derivatives work.” You surmised. “They can be pretty tricky, but we’ll handle it.” You flashed Michelle a confident grin and were rewarded by seeing her hand drop from her face, her cute smile growing even bigger.

Michelle pulled out her smart phone. “Let me just check what problems I need to do.” Michelle glanced away from you, scrolling through the notes she had taken on her phone. After a minute, she realized the homework was in a different textbook entirely. Michelle sighed and sheepishly smiled.

“Wrong book.” She said out loud, slamming the open textbook with a flick of her wrist. She moved to grab the proper book, when she suddenly screamed. Eyes widening, she frantically ripped her now-closed textbook back open, desperately trying to find the page she had just been on. Finally, she spotted the crushed form of your flat body, sticking to the page.

From your perspective, all you had seen was Michelle smile in an embarrassed sort of way, and then she slammed the book shut on you without a second thought. You had been caught completely off guard, with no chance to react or even cry out. The heavy book was more than a match for you, and you had been painfully flattened in the blink of an eye.

Still, Michelle had immediately noticed her blunder, and only took a few moments to relocate you. You stared up at her, unable to do anything while flat and stuck to the paper. You watched her shoulders slump as she bit her trembling lip.

“Oh…god. I killed him!” Michelle cried, running her hands through her hair. Her rate of breathing increased, and she fidgeted in her chair. You realized that Michelle hadn’t processed Stacy’s earlier remarks about your squishy and malleable body. You wished you could reform quickly and calm her down, but you knew your body would need another minute or so to reinflate.

Thankfully, Michelle didn’t lapse into a full-on panic attack. Instead, she used one of her long fingernails to peel your body off of the page, and she dangled you in the air. This gave your body significantly more space to reform, and you soon popped back to 3D while still being held in her fingers. Michelle was so surprised to see you reform that she dropped you again with a cute squeal.

You fell down onto the textbook, but thankfully on your feet squished, and even then only slightly. You looked up at Michelle, noting her expression, which was a mix between shock and awe.

“I’m so sorry to have scared you Michelle!” You told her, smiling as happily as you could. You stuck out your arms and spun in a circle. “As you can see, I’m totally fine! I guess you forgot, but my body is very squishy. I’m easily crushed and stretched, but I always bounce back!”

“That’s…uh…” Michelle took a second to catch her breath. “Squishy?”

“Yeah.”

“You’ve always been like this?” Michelle asked. You were happy to see the color return to her cheeks.

“Since I was born. The doctors have no idea how it happened.” You explained. “Life’s been…pretty hard. But I’ve managed. Sorry for causing a scene.”

“Sorry?” Michelle placed her hand on her chest. “I’m the one who should be sorry. You have absolutely nothing to apologize for! I was stupid, and I got you hurt.”

“Come on Michelle. I told you, it didn’t hurt. I’m fine. I’ve already forgotten it even happened.” You boasted. Truthfully, it had hurt. It almost always hurt when you were squashed, but you weren’t about to make this extremely nice and attractive girl even more upset about what she had done.

Michelle look slightly unconvinced, but finally relented. “Alright. If you say so…tough stuff.” Michelle teased, gently flicking you. You stumbled a bit but kept your balance. That flirty, playful glint had returned to Michelle’s eyes.

Michelle retrieved her proper textbook and opened it up to the practice exercises outlined in the notes on her phone. You climbed up onto the book and walked over to the first problem. Michelle grabbed her scratch paper and pen, and gave you a cute wink to signal you to begin her tutoring session…finally.
