Ellie towered above you like a goddess, her body partially cast in shadow due to standing against the bright lights overhead. She had an annoyed frown on her face, and her hands on her hips. You were too exhausted and frightened to say something, a decision you would immediately come to regret, as the titanic store employee bent down and reached at you with her hand.
She snatched you up into her grip before you had a chance to react, her warm fingers keeping you pinned stiff and unable to move. Her thumb slightly pressed into your head, keeping it just flat enough to where you couldn’t talk or make any noise. You could only stare at your captor with one, mortified eye.
“I found that doll we were looking for.” Ellie said over her shoulder, presumably to another store employee. “The one that fell out of its packaging. It’s really dirty, and its clothes have been torn off. Shouldn’t be too much of a hassle to clean it up as good as new and replace it though.”
You couldn’t hear her coworker’s reply, but you also weren’t really listening. Ellie’s words had filled you with so much dread that you screamed and thrashed was much as your tiny body was able to, desperate to prove you were a living human being just like she was, and not a little lost doll. Sadly, your movements were nearly imperceptible to a giantess like Ellie, and the noises you made came out as only faint buzzing.
Blissfully unaware of the true identity of what she was holding in her hand, Ellie carried you into the employee back room near the rear of the toy store. Flicking on the sink, she ran you under the freezing cold water, scrubbing your entire body with her thumb and index finger to remove all dirt and dust. You tried to speak, but found yourself both overwhelmed by the stimulation Ellie was unknowingly providing, and the torrent of water pounding you in the face.
Squeaky clean, Ellie dried you off with a small towel before rummaging in a small drawer for tiny doll clothes to replace your own torn outfit. With the ease of a practiced doll enthusiast, Ellie slid on an extremely tight pair of red and black snow pants and boots, and a constricting red snow coat, hat, and scarf.
She set you on the table for a second while she looked for some accessories, and you found yourself unable to move, much to your terrible horror. The outfit Ellie had put you in was simply too tight and form-fitting, and it crushed your arms and legs flat enough to prevent movement. Your chest and lungs were also slightly squished, preventing any form of speech.
You could only lie still like a good little doll as Ellie returned with two hiking sticks, folding your squishy hands around them tightly. She pressed with enough force to ensure your hands stayed flattened and adhered to the sticks, like you had been factory made to be that way. In your current form, you were practically completely unnoticeable as your normal self. Tears began to well up in your eyes as the true nature of your terrible predicament dawned on you.
Oblivious to your pain and tears, Ellie carried you over to a box filled with nineteen other one-inch tall dolls, each dressed for various sports or physical activities. She carefully slotted you into an empty space near the back of the box, right between a skiing doll and a snowboarding doll. The collection complete once more, Ellie resealed the box, slapped a price tag on the front, and carried the box out of the room and back into the main store.
She placed the box in one of the many, many aisles, right next to twenty other sets of dolls completely identical to it. Of course, the other sets didn’t have their snow hiking doll as a tiny, living human being, but you realized with fear that it would be nearly impossible for anyone to tell the difference. You doubted anyone would recognize that you were alive, seeing as how you couldn’t move or speak in the constricting outfit.
Two long, boring hours passed, as you simply stared straight forward past two rows of dolls and out into the aisle. You saw hundreds of people walk past, and several children’s inquisitive eyes peer into the box, but nothing happened. At least, until you saw a woman with a gigantic rack pause in front of your box, her breasts filling up the entire plastic window of the box.
The mystery woman pulled the box of the rack and tilted it backwards, allowing you to stare up at her. As her giant, warmly smiling face came into view, you realized it was your mother, the one person who could potentially save you from this nightmare of a situation. Of course, she was also the number one person who could make everything much, much worse.
Shannon's lips parted, and she opened her mouth to speak. "Goodness...
