Chapter #4Miniature Monica by: Unknown Darcy was sitting in her office, watching the TV she'd set up to monitor Wanda. She was out of ideas on how to break into the Westview forcefield, so she'd decided to just watch the show and see if she got any new ideas. She had her feet up on her desk and a bowl of popcorn in her lap, and was completely entranced by the show. Wanda had just had twins in a shocking twist, with Monica/Geraldine stepping into help deliver them. Now the two of them were alone in Wanda's apartment, watching the newborn twins who, in classic sitcom fashion, looked like they were 3 months old already.
"You know, I'm a twin too. I had a brother. His name was Pietro." Wanda said, looking lovingly at her newborn twins.
"Yes Wanda. He was killed by Ultron." Geraldine said, carefully prodding Wanda's illusion. In truth, she was SWORD agent Monica Rambeau, and she was trying to break Wanda out of the illusion she'd constructed for herself. Unfortunately, she had pushed a little too hard.
"What'd you say?" Wanda said, snapping out of her reminescence and staring deliberately at "Geraldine". "Did you just say Ultron?"
Monica could tell she pushed too hard, and tried to back off. "No, no, I didn't say anything." She backed away slowly, feeling the cold glare of Wanda's eyes baring down on her.
"Oh shit." Darcy exclaimed, sitting up in her seat. Things were getting crazy, and Monica might be in danger.
Suddenly Monica floated into the air, wrapped in the red glow of Wanda's magic.
Monica squealed as she hung in the air. She squirmed reflexively against the bindings around her body, but in truth, there were no bindings, just whatever magic Wanda was using. Still, it felt like chains were strung tightly around her torso.
"You don't belong here Geraldine." Wanda's eyes glowed scarlet as she glared at the tiny woman flailing in the air in front of her. "You need to be disposed of. This is my world."
"Please Wanda, my name isn't even Geraldine, it's Monica. I'm here to-" Monica began, only to have her breath squeezed out as the magical field surrounding her squeezed tighter. And tighter. Before long, she found her entire body being compressed, shrinking down smaller and smaller as Wanda's magic squeezed her inward.
"Oh my god..." Darcy clasped her hand over her mouth, unable to believe what was unfolding on the retro screen. Agent Monica had been shrunken down by one of the Avengers, and she was now going to be "disposed of", whatever that meant. She continued to watch, unable to tear her eyes away.
"I don't care what your name is little pest. You invaded my world, and now, I know just what to do with you..." Wanda said, and a wave of red light blinded the shrunken woman as she slipped into unconsciousness.
Where does Monica wake up?
1. Monica remains shrunken and is on the floor of Wanda's house, with a giant Wanda trying to stamp out the "bug" in her home.
2. Wanda turns Monica into a cookie, making the woman into what looks like a living gingerbread cookie. Monica wakes up on a cookie tray being pulled out of the oven by 60s Wanda, who proceeds to eat her despite her protests while Darcy watches in horror.
3. Monica wakes up to find that Wanda has fused her into a thong. Her arms and legs fused into fabric above and below her, leaving only her torso and head in the back of Wanda's thong. Wanda figured a human wedgie won't be able to ruin her little world.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
