Wave sat up, head spinning. Just a moment ago she'd been in the lead in a race. But then something had gone wrong. Her board had begun to shake and spark erratically, causing Wave to completely lose her balance and crash.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING???" Jet yelled over the communicator, "GET BACK IN THERE!!!"
"Yeah yeah..." Wave sighed. Looks like she wouldn't have time to figure out what was wrong, she'd just have to hope her board holds long enough for her to place.
She quickly jumped back onto her board and, thankfully, it seemed to be working fine. Little did she know...
