Soft Kitty

"Shinx..." The Shinx drops the rest of their body body to the ground, causing the dirt around it to blow you back. The Shinx looks at you with their playful golden eyes, waiting for you to do something. You decide to try to get close to the Pokemon again, holding out one of your hands towards its ruby red nose. The Shinx this time presses its fluffy cheek right on you, putting the weight of their whole head right on you.

Surprisingly, it didn't hurt you, well not dramatically. You did still feel discomfort when your back got slammed to the dirt by the wall of light blue fluff, but the fur of the Shinx surprisingly felt... nice. You rubbed your hands on the soft fur pressing on you. The Shinx in response began to purr. Huh, who knew that Shinx's purr. After a few seconds of rubbing, the Shinx lifts their head up a bit for you to stand up, but still reach their head. They then tilt their head, as you scratch behind their ears. That's when you notice something interesting looking up.

The Shinx's tuft on the top of their head. Normally, no one would actually pay attention to it, but you knew something about it. If the tuft of hair is long that means that the gender of the Shinx is male, and seeing how even behind the Shinx's ear it touches your head, the Shinx you've been dealing with is a male.

"Shaaa~" The Shinx yawns in relaxation, as he rolls over to his back, right over you. You look at the Shinx to see that he has fallen asleep. It's honestly kinda cute. You sit down right next to the neck of the sleeping Shinx as your eyes begin to get droopy as well.

Before you can fully go to sleep though, you hear a rustle of a bush right in front of you. You shake at the Shinx's face, waking him up to notice the shaking bush as well. He fully stands back up, and takes a defensive stand right behind you, as it is revealed to be...
