Suddenly, you hear the apartment door open. You and Raichu look over there, and the rodent hugs you tighter. You see your Indeedee poke her head out of the open door, looking around. She calls out, and you hear her voice telepathically talking in your head.
“{Young Master!}” she says in your head. “{Are you out there? I sense you—and a Pokemon. Are you safe?}”
Indeedee steps out to the top of the steps and keep looking around. She finally spots the Alolan Raichu floating at the edge of the parking lot, close to the forest. She’s too far away to see your tiny body clearly, but she can tell the Raichu is holding something, and she senses you close to the Pokemon too. She hops down the stairs and comes closer. Raichu is frozen up, but you yell at Indeedee to get her attention.
“I’m here!” you shout. “Raichu’s got me!”
Indeedee gasps as she realizes the truth. The tiny thing in Raichu’s embrace is her master, and he shrunk somehow! She doesn’t know how that happened, but she does know her master is in the grasp of an unknown Pokemon. She has to save you!
Indeedee narrows her eyes and holds up her hands. Raichu squeaks in surprise as her psychic grip wraps around you and yanks you out of his hug. You scream as you fly through the air towards your Pokemon. She snatches you tightly in one paw and holds you to her chest. She shouts angrily at Raichu, who floats backwards and looks nervous.
You’re happy to finally be back with Indeedee, but you feel bad about Raichu. He seemed nice and friendly, but now Indeedee is mad at him. She probably thought the rodent was trying to kidnap you. True, he was floating away from the motel, but he stopped when you told him about Indeedee, so he may have been planning to bring you back and help you reunite with your Pokemon. You don’t think Raichu is a bad Pokemon, so you wonder if you should defend him.
