The Hypnotist decided to start his show a little differently than most of his others. "But first, before I get started with team RWBY, I'd like to see if anyone else out there is, shall we say, more susceptible to the powers of hypnosis!" The audience began to murmur in wonder and anticipation.
"To get started, everyone focus your eyes on me and on this." The Hypnotist pulled out a small pocket watch he had designed to produce a small hypnotic effect. It usually wasn't enough to hypnotize most, but those that were very good hypnotic subjects would be entranced by it after a time. He pressed the button on the back of the watch and held it up so the audience could see it.
"Just keep your eyes on the pocket watch," he commanded as he swung it back and forth. What the audience didn't know was that invisible hypnotic waves were being bombarded all over them. Most wouldn't notice it. The ones who did wouldn't notice for long.
"Keep your eyes on the watch," he continued to soothe. "Let its power flow over you, over your mind, starting to erase your waking thoughts. In a moment, I'm going to count backwards from three to one. When I reach the number one, you will fall into a deep hypnotic sleep, open to all my suggestions. Three...two...one...sleep!" The Hypnotist snapped his fingers.
