Tim knew that at his current size, and as destined to be food, he will probably be the main ingredient of some meal rather than small part of the toppings. It also means that at this size he is going to be chewed bit by bit rather than swallowed whole. While sitting in the display plate at the groceries store, he considered what options he's facing.
During that time, when he thinks about the possibilities of being eaten and chewed alive inside a sandwich like his friend Ken, being bought as ingredient and cooked to death, or being slightly cooked and eaten alive, and thinking of the people that might buy him, a lady in business suite stood in front of the counter.
At first he didn’t gave much attention to her, as costumers came and went with tinies like him all day long. He was drenched in his thoughts and heard the lady ordering her sub, ignoring her as not every sub order contained tinies.
"Umm spread mayo, Umm lettuce, Emmental cheese.. Umm that tiny here..."
Suddenly Tim was shaken out of his world as metallic clamps grabbed him and laid him on his back on top of a soft yellow bed. It took him a second to grasp that he is finally chosen, and was put inside the sub which that business woman is ordering. As he laid on the cheese, the employee who's preparing the order uncovered the plastic tape from his mouth.
Now that it's clear for him what is going to happen, his entire attention is on the business woman. She looks in her 40's, has blonde hair, a bit taller than average, and beautiful face. If he needed to describe her further, she kinda reminded him the actress Jess McAllen. The woman continue her order.
"… umm and tomatoes, that's it."
Tim saw the employee put tomato slices on the other side of the bun and then she closed the sandwich. His entire front and face were blocked by the top part of the bread, and now he was facing the tomato slices. Their smell was strong being that close and their juice started dripping on him.
"Ma'am, do you want me to cut it in half or pack it whole?" the employee asked.
"No, leave it whole please, It might be a while before I'll actually eat it and I would like the tiny to stay as fresh as possible. Besides, I like to eat them alive and cut them with my teeth hehe."
Hearing this scared Tim very much, but he also knew there's nothing he can do at the point.
The sandwich with Tim was wrapped in paper and handed over to the woman. She paid and went out. Tim felt some movements and heard some noises, but couldn't tell exactly what's happening as everything was dark and he was stuck inside the tight pressing sandwich, unable to move.
Not that there was any point in moving or trying to escape. He was destined to be food in one way or another. Even if he did manage to somehow escape, he'll probably be immediately found by someone, who will grab him and eat him anyway. If not eaten, he might end being stepped on, crushed to death under someone's shoe, or being collected by someone who like to torture tinies for fun.
Tim was inside the sandwich, while the woman went to work. The sandwich was inside her bag, she planned on eating it later as she had a lot of work in her office and very little time to have a proper lunch break. Usually she buys a sub and eat it at some point while working. Some times, she just going through the entire day only on her morning's coffee and some snacks, before returning back home to have a proper meal. A lot of the time those snacks are shrunken people in various sizes, sold in bags for that purpose. Some are even flavored.
The long hours are passing as the woman is neck deep in tons of work. All the while Tim is still inside her sub, wondering why he sit there for so long. "Doesn’t she suppose to buy and then eat me? Why am I sitting here for so long? Did she forget about me? or she's just going to eat me later?" The smell and stickiness inside the sandwich grew stronger as the hours passed.
What will happen to Tim?
Will he be eaten entirely with the sub, chewed one piece at the time from the legs to the head, once the woman will take her late lunch break?
Or is she going to be so drowned in work so much, that she's gonna take 2 or 3 bites before throwing the rest of the unfinished sandwich to the trash, leaving Tim injured yet still alive with disgusting garbage?
