Tori Matthews: Located in the section known as The Slough. The 23 year old spends her days gambling away her wealth that she had accumulated from three dead uncles and two dead aunts. Unusually loose with her finances, Tori decides the best way to get her luck back into order is by a handicap.

Michelle Barrows: Blind in one eye, Michelle Barrows stays away from the big--to her eyes anyway--city. Her solitude is only broken by the young pup named Bartholomew. That and being known by the 'larger' community as the go-to third party that can find more esoteric clothes manufacturers.
