"Showtime." Haruka whispered. She was so ready to rampage.
She waited with barely contained anticipation as she continued to eye the white fog. Whatever emerged from their would no doubt be exciting. She lived for exciting.
Then she heard it. The sound of footsteps, large footsteps, fallowed by the sounds of scraping metal. Whatever was coming must have been mechanical.
It wouldn't surprise the young Kaiju if her opposition was mechanical considering she's scrapped more than her fair share of the generals menacing machines.
The only downside was they didn't tend to last very long when she went all out and because of her insane level of durability, she could pretty much tank whatever the dished out.
She could still remember the first time she came to the military's testing facility and they had her fight a bunch of mini robots with experimental blaster technology. From what the general explained, those blasters had enough power to cut through 12inches of metal like a hot knife through butter. Yet, they didn't even burn or break her skin. Needless to say he was pissed.
That's how all his tests went. He'd bring in the latest... whatever, and she'd either tank it or destroy it. Either way the outcome was always the same... Girlzilla wins.
Haruka was broken from her thoughts when suddenly the footsteps went silent. The kaiju didn't know what to expect, but all of a sudden the alarms stopped blaring and the lights retuned to normal. All that was left was the white fog and what was concealed within.
Just what was in there?
From inside his window the general and scientist looked on with anxious expressions. This was it.
Haruka tightened her fists in preparation and met the glowing red eyes of the automaton.
