He stood tall and proud, almost arrogant you could say. It looked like he knew everything and could handle any situation. He was tall but very wide at the shoulders, unlike any elf she had ever seen, but she hasn't seen many elves beside her teacher.
'He is quite the specimen of a man. His arms rippled with muscles and oh his abs, he must have chiseled abs and those broad shoulders, humph yeah. Wait wait! stop! I'm sworn to celibacy I can't be thinking like this! Stop!' she thinks to herself.
"Follow me and I shall inform you of your mission. You do have the right to refuse Birchvene. However, here I beg you not."
They both follow her into the meeting hall.
"I have two missions that you may choose from. Both equally important. I have chosen you, Birchvene, because I believe you are one of my most prominent students and are capable of great things.
"First, the chalice of justice has been stolen. That chalice gives me the wisdom to see who is right in any given situation and assign the appropriate punishment to the wrongdoer," She finished.
"Your second choice involves the staff of light."
"You've found it?!" Birchvene interrupts. "Sorry matron mother."
"That's perfectly alright child and yes we think we may have located it. However, the evil grey dwarves want it to raise their dead in times of war. We need to locate and procure that staff before they do. This journey could lead you well beyond the bounds of these lands." She said. "I pray you take the latter. It's all up to you Birchvene you have an able-bodied and highly recommended warrior skilled in various fighting styles to take with you. Please choose wisely. Take some time if you need to."
'Well he IS quite the hunk. Maybe I should take the staff assignment. After all, that would be the longer one. Who knows maybe he's to be my one. That is the only time we're allowed to procreate. But wow! Hubba Hubba!'
